The Private Rented Housing Panel (prhp)
The prhp is a Tribunal operating in Scotland with support from the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service. The prhp have duties under several jurisdictions relating to the private rented housing market in Scotland.
This site offers guidance on the types of application we can consider and our procedures. There are sections with information about the membership of the Panel and format of the Tribunals. There is also a searchable database of previous decisions, divided into decisions on rent assessment and decisions on repairing standard complaints.
If you wish to submit an application go to the How We Can Help section and select the type of application you wish to make: rent, repairs or right of entry. Guidance is available on these pages, as well as links to download the application forms and printable versions of guidance.
If you wish to view annual reports and see the membership of the Panel, go to the Who We Are section of the site. For information on the general function of the Tribunal go to the How We Work section.
Visit the contact us page if you wish to send an application to us by post or email, or if you have questions about the process that are not answered in our How We Can Help section. Please note that we are not an advice body. As a Tribunal, we can't offer advice to parties under any circumstances so if you have questions about an issue you are having you should contact a relevant body for advice. Some external organisations are listed in the Links section of the site.
